It plays 12 melodies and if that gets annoying the switch in back will shut off music, but skaters still skate. I'm selling some of my Christmas village pieces and sticking to one theme. This comes from a non-smoking home and has been stored inside my spare bedroom. I Included him anyway.

There is also a missing top from one of the light poles. You can plug a 4V adapter into this, but it is not Included with this set. This is an older skating pond from K-Mart. It goes into the four holes on top of edge pond.

He is supposed to sit there. It will also take two C batteries. The little skater in the middle doesn't do anything. I used a Le max adapter to make sure it worked.

The box says the adapter is sold separately. I put it all together so there is a video. This skating pond has lasted longer than my Le max one. There is one bottle brush tree missing and the bench that older couple sits on has leg.

There is a Santa Clause that looks like he could skate with the others, but doesn't belong this set.
